THE HOME

As you walk into the Sunset Villa, follow the stairs up to the great room, where you will be met with panoramic views of the Sunset Point Channel, and the gorgeous back yard and pool. The vaulted ceilings tower above with exposed timber beams, King trusses, and steel fasteners. The girth of the home makes it seem as though it has been teleported from a fishing village in Maine, almost as though it has been built to support a snowy winter! Instead of a fire place though, this massive space was created to accommodate a third floor mezzanine and veranda to admire the calm seafront and tropical garden.

Under the vaulted ceilings, the great room hosts the kitchen, dining and living spaces which all face the gorgeous views, offered by the veranda and the floor to ceiling windows. The kitchen has a round granite countertop encircled by 5 barstools for easy entertainment, the dining table comfortably seats 8, a house designed for fun. The South wing has the master suite with a large bathroom and closet, while the North wing has 2 more bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Downstairs on the pool level there is ample indoor storage and the “maid’s quarters” with its own bedroom and bathroom.

The home runs on a 48 volt solar system with new 5000watt solar panels. It has a new 8kw all in one solar inverter and charge controller. 3- lithium 100Amph batteries. For now there is a back up generator, but city electricity is on its way! For rain catchment water storage the property has one 1500 gallon tank and two 1000 gallon tanks.
