THE LAND

40 minutes from the downtown core of Bocas del Toro, the resort’s shuttle collects guests directly from the airport. Ushering clients through the colorful Bocas Town, through pastures of the central island and on through dense jungle canopies until they reach the property where views open to the incredible sights of the Drago coast.

THE BUSINESS

The Holistic Beach Resort has cultivated a perfectly curated online presence, with professional imagery throughout instagram and the website. The owners have trained an excellent, motivated staff, willing to stay on through the changing of hands.

The main building has 6 garden level rooms with sea views, they vary in occupancy allowing flexibility for travelers and retreats. There is 1 extra room , and one loft style apartment on the second floor which are currently used as manager quarters, these spaces can soon be converted into additional rentals, as a managerial house is now under construction.

A massive professional kitchen opens onto a second story covered outdoor dining space, both with panoramic views of the sea. Below this restaurant is a garden level bar and lounge with pool access, and above is the third story rooftop bar! Wooden decking surrounding the pool and offers plenty of space for suntanning and star gazing.

Behind the main building is a jungle house divided into two suites, upstairs and down, this building has been ideal for retreat leader lodging, but also rents well to families. Set back in the shade of the jungle, there is a large covered platform devoted to yoga.

Along the East border of the property are 3 private ocean view cabanas, two of which have queen sized beds and the largest has a king sized bed and a single in the loft. Each of the private ocean view cabanas have their own front porch, and outdoor showers.

Behind the Ocean view Cabanas is staff housing, of two separate apartments. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with kitchen and the downstairs apartment has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a kitchen.

THE OFFGRID SYSTEMS

The Holistic Beach Retreat operates on forty-five 255 watt solar panels with eight 5.4 Kw batteries, and uses 2 dual fuel generator as a backup power supply. For water the hotel collects rain and has 18 water cisterns of 4100 liters each, during the dryer months, the property sometimes uses water from its own fresh water spring and well.

The staff housing has its own water and solar system, twelve 350 watt panels with 2 fortress 5.4 KW e flex lithium ion batteries and its own water cistern
