The land is flat, and the home is surrounded by a meticulously manicured lawn, with great almendro trees sprawling between the home and the beach. The Almendros serve as a buffer from the sea breeze, as shade providers, and as thoroughfare for the troops of Capuchins and howler monkeys who cross from the woods on either side.

Behind the property there is a wooded hill of 20 meters elevation, which gives an excellent barrier of privacy from the road. This hill is the portion of the property which is ROP, and is available for sale separately.

THE HOME

They don’t build homes like this anymore! The amount of material invested in this beachfront dream home is astounding. Massive 3×3 foot concrete pillars hold the home 6 feet above the earth.

Entering the great room you are immediately confronted by the vaulted ceilings and high windows, which indirectly allow the light of the tropical sun to illuminate the galley kitchen, and dining space.
