This lot is located within a gated community, which will allow you to lock up and leave for months at a time, without thinking twice about the security of your investment. Most of the developments in La Barqueta are holiday homes, and vacation rentals, but much of the coast line is protected. Just a short walk away from the building site is the Las Olas hotel, with its pool, bar, restaurant and country club, and in between, a few authentic restaurants align the beach with their grass roof huts and locally caught seafood. The beach is a favorite for nesting sea turtles, and there are hatcheries and conservation initiatives in the area, even a sea turtle festival each year!
