THE BEACH

In the Bocas del Toro Archipelago it is very rare to find sandy beachfront property that is swimmable year round. The reason for this, is that it’s the exposure to the rough open ocean that washes in sand and creates environments unwelcoming to mangrove seedlings, leaving golden spaces for sand castles and sunbathing. The majority of these sought after sandy spots on the Bocas coast are perfect for surfers and not so great for lazy swims or floating about.
